Day 1

Arriving in Errachidia. Flight over Casablanca to Errachidia.

Day 2

We drive to Erfoud. On the way we visit the blue spring of Meski. Afterwards we stopp in Erfoud to visit. We continue to Rissani where the horses are. ride in the afternoon through the palmeraie, little sanddunes changes with big planes where you can canter for ever. camp in the oasis of Thinghras - place which is famous for many desertfilms.

Day 3

magic desert - little sanddunes, black mountains lonely palmtrees and finaly the palmeraie of Rissani. Pick nick there. Afternoon drive to Rissani; we visit the Maousoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif; the first king of the Alaouiten Dynastie. Afterwards we have time to go to the souks of Rissani. night in the Hotel in Rissani.

Day 4

endless plane with small black stones for many long canters; lonely valleys; suddenly immense white plane with empty river in the middle; far away you see the huge redgolden sanddunes of Merzouga. A 4 hours ride brings us to the lake of Dait Srji. After a rain the water stays in the plane, then many bird will live beside the lake, sometimes even the pink Flamingoes. camp by the lake.

Day 5

if there is water in the lake we follow the border to observe the different birds. but also many camelheards are eating there the few green gras or flowers. soon we arrive by the big sanddunes. It's fascinating to ride through the big ocean of sanddunes. The dunes are on some places up to 200 meters high. then we arrive to the auberge just beside the sanddunes. in the afternoon we drive to a little village where we will see the dance of the Gnaoua music. this music is origine of the black people in morocco. night in the auberge.

Day 6

today we ride the horses along the big sanddunes to Erg Chebbi. some little bits we canter over small sanddunes. it's a special feeling! the horses take all there force to galopp up and the suddenly the fast and easy going douwn! at lunch we arrive in the auberge of Erg Cheppi. The horses stays there and after a good rest we will leave with camels into the hard of the sanddunes. there in the middle we will find some black nomade tents.there is still time to climp up the sanddunes to enjoy the sunset. it's a magnificient view over the ocean of sanddunes and far away the red sun will slowly disapear behind a mounatin chane. a tipical meal is waiting for us in the black nomade tent, where we will pass also the night. it's a real adventure to stay for one night as the nomades.

Day 7

early in the morning before the sunrise you might stand up to climp again on the sanddune. again we will find us in world of fascination. With the slowly coming up of the sun the colors of the sanddunes are changing - from a cold yellow to a warm rose and red. then the breakfast is waiting for us in the nomade tents. afterwards we will go back with the camels. the slow pace of the camel brings us close to metitation. back in the auberge the rest of the day is free. you can have a rest there or walk through the sanddunes or go to the near village for a coffe or a shopping tour. night in the auberge.

Day 8

today we follow the sanddunes to there northend. Then we ride over little mountains, cantering over big planes and crossing through empty river valleys. There you can find fossils. night in the camp

Day 9

today we ride over the plane of Erfoud. we cross through little sanddunes and canter over big white planes. soon we reach the palmeraie of Erfoud. Over small ways we ride from little village to the next. many little water canals irrigate the incredible green fields. in the afternoon is possibility to drive to Erfoud, with many little souvenirs shop or nice coffeehouses. night in the camp.

Day 10

our last riding day brings us through the quiet green desert. in between the little sanddunes many bushes and pampas gras is growing here. in the middle of this nowwhere suddenly we find the skysteps of a german artist. from far away you can see the monument. Lunch is beside an old military fort. a short but fast ride brings us back to the camp. we drive back with the car to Errachidia where we stay over night.

Day 11

early morning flight back to casablanca.
